Relaxation/ Swedish Massage
Incorporates long, flowing, strokes using light to medium pressure. Strokes include effleurage (flowing), petrissage (kneading, lifting), vibration, friction, and tapotement (percussive). Swedish massage enhances the circulation of blood and lymph through the body. It soothes the body, relieves muscle tension and quiets your mind.

Oncology Massage
Benefits include improved relaxation, sleep, as well as relieving pain, anxiety, depression, fatigue, and nausea. Oncology Massage can include the desire for a respite – a relaxing pleasurable experience in the midst of everything that is going on, helping each client to get through the remainder of his/her cancer treatments.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
MLD is a type of gentle massage which encourages the natural drainage of lymph. The lymphatic system depends on intrinsic contractions of the smooth muscle cells in the walls of lymph vessels and the movement of skeletal muscle to propel lymph through the vessels to lymph nodes and then beyond to the lymph ducts which return lymph to the cardiovascular system. Manual lymph drainage uses a specific amount of pressure and rhythmic movements to stimulate lymph flow. MLD is beneficial for lymphedema management.

Reiki
The roots of this ancient holistic therapy originate in India and later resurfaced as Reiki in the early 1900s in Japan. Reiki consists of healing energy being transferred through the practitioner to the client, by placing of hands-on or away from the client's body. Guided meditation and grounding techniques are also used allowing the client to release body stress, direct their energy to address disease or illness, to achieve a higher state of relaxation and wellness.
